"These guys did excellent work! I had 3 over 100 year old exterior doors rehung with new hardware, lock sets, threshold, and weather stripping. The doors were drafty, and I could hardly get them closed. Now they are right and tight. They close easily and no more drafts! Thanks HD finished carpentry!"

"Josh from 3 flowers flooring responded immediately to our estimate request and came out the next day to give us an estimate. We called 6 different places and he was the only person who got back to us. He started the job when he said he would. Explained all our different options and what to expect. Josh finished the job the day he said he would and everything looks amazing! I couldnâ t be happier with the outcome, service, and price. Excellent service!"

Again, can't say enough good things and I highly recommend."

"Just Right Repair was wonderful. Quick, responsive and reliable! They were able to diagnose my plumbing problem and fix the problem and saved me money! It was possibly a larger issue that could cost hundreds but instead it was a simple fix and I was charged as such! I am absolutley calling them for everything!!"

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
Pittston Addition & Remodeling Contractors are rated 4.0 out of 5 based on 45 reviews of 45 pros.
