"I got 3 or 4 quotes, and Larry gave the lowest quote. Larry is also the only one who gave me a full-page write-up/quote. One person texted me their quote. Another scribbled it on paper, took a picture of the paper, and emailed it to me. Larry took the time to put it in a Word Document and email it to me. He came out to do the initial measurements. After I had gotten some other quotes, I still wasnâ t sure. I noticed some differences everyoneâ s measurements, so I asked him to come out and measure again, to make sure that there wouldnâ t be any surprises, and he did. I decided to get the 3â insulated aluminum roof panels, and I think it looks really nice. Itâ s also not noisy when it rains. I was very concerned when he wanted 2/3rds of the money up front to order materials (my roof was about 970 sqft, and he had already put out money for materials on other projects), After talking with a few of his referrals, I had some peace of mind and I went with Larry. The materials took about 2 or 3 weeks to arrive, and he started work shortly thereafter. The work took about a month to complete, but like I said, it was a very big project (about 970 sqft: 4 different sections of porch roof, covering 4 porch areas, all touching). We had some issues with the roof leaking before Larry was able to finish the project 100%, but it was because he hadnâ t done the flashing, caulking, and taping. He just finished a few days ago, and we havenâ t had rain, so Iâ ll have to see if all the leaks are fixed. He said if it leaks anymore, just give him a call and he will come and fix it. (One of the referrals I called had said they had a leak, and he came out right away and fixed it). I think part of the reason the roof took so long, is that it was a very big project, he made a mistake on a panel and had to reorder it (at his cost), and I live in Pascagoula and he lives north of Biloxi. However, I think it was worth the wait to get a better product at a much better price than others were quoting. If you hire Larry, I think you will be very happy with the end product."
