"Derek is honest, courteous, and treats you like family. The craftsmen he hires to lay the tile are artists and really care about how you like their work. This company is the best. If you had more than 5 stars I would rate him higher. Thank you for finding someone with his integrity for your lists."

"Leo and his crew were wonderful. We had flooding which destroyed most of the drywall, it was a mess. Leo gave me a very reasonable quote, and the eork was completed to perfection, not a seam shows! I look forward to hiring Andes construction for a kitchen remodel."

"Quality work, integrity, problem solving, and trustworthy all describe Jeff and his crew. Major remodel of my mother's home which had been neglected. Jeff was always in communication with me, came up with great solutions, delivered hard news (a root from the tree next door had grown into the foundation) with grace and information necessary to make an informed decision. Worked within my budget and had great resources in order to stay within that budget. Most of the time I was traveling so most of the decisions were made over the phone but he sent photos and gave options. I had complete trust in his observations and suggestions. The neighbors remarked on how clean the work site was and how little they were impacted by the work. At 62 I anticipate this to be my last home and the quality of the renovation of infrastructure and finishes gives me peace of mind for the future. Hire him , make your life easier and better."

Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
