"Loved the service thank you Guy and the entire golden line team !!! Our bathroom looks amazing. After going through so many other companies were seriously so glad we decided to work with you. They came So fast to give us a complementary quote and the process couldn't have been any smoother. Very professional and not pushy ( like other companies we dealt with in the past ) . We will certainly be calling them for future project !"

Renovations, Additions
"Performed the work professionally and as agreed upon. They remodeled my kitchen and 3 bathrooms (including my master bedroom and dining room). We added a 500 square foot room addition to expand the master bedroom and master bathroom. Vertex provided us with a great architect and engineer that created a beautiful and functional floor plan. They cleaned up after each work day and did an excellent job on my home remodel. They came in at budget as well. I'm also grateful that they handled my project from A-Z, I didn't have to interject once. I highly recommend Vertex."

"Efrain and David are fantastic! When our contractor was suddenly unable to continue with the job, David took over with a great positive attitude. He persistently worked with the city to get the building permit, finally ending a tedious 10 month process. Crews were here working every day. Each one of them was considerate, conscientious, and demonstrated a strong work ethic. Efrain and David communicated with us most days and were always accessible to us. My ADU is adorable and just what we wanted and I am sure that many contractors could have pulled it off. The important thing about Olalde is that they truly care and honestly want us to be happy."

"Samuel is an on hand GC. Very knowledgeable in all aspects of construction. He inherited a job from a shady contractor and has resolved all my issues. He did a beautiful job with our main bathroom remodel, kitchen floor and back splash, lighting though out the entire home, exterior stucco work, and so much more. He's definitely a guy you can hire for any project."

Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
