"Great quality and great service! I hired V&E to demo our shower and tub, then build a new shower with two niches and extend the floor tile where the tub used to be. They communicate every step of the way, are punctual and professional. Plus, they are really nice guys! Wish more contractors were like this. I am extremely happy with the outcome!"

"We thought all we needed was some tile laid for a handicap shower. He educated us about all the modifications the bathroom needed including framing, drywall concrete and electrical work. Michael provided us with the other people needed to complete the job. He coordinated with the other companies and the entire job was finished in the one week time period he promised. There was some rework needed and Michael made sure the work was completed to our satisfaction. We priced the tile and Michael was able to purchase the correct amount of tile for $300.00 less than we expected. His tile work was perfect! The shower and floor were perfect."

"They do an excellent job, they stick to their budget.... Workmanship was beautiful. Everything was finished in a timely manner and we paid a fair price for the value we received. Would definitely use again."

Tile
"The workmanship was top-notch. Had about 1,000 sqft of Italian tile work done and it was perfect: Furniture moved, removal, tile and molding laid in great symmetry, 1/16 gap even throughout, price reasonable, and clean up was good. Just be patient with how long it will take-- perfection does take time. Now it looks beautiful. Thank you."

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
