"I hired Tony to repair my very large (20 plus foot wide) outdoor Pergola in June of 2016. Among other things, the structure's supporting beams were bowing and I was advised by 2 engineers that it was just a matter of time before it would certainly collapse. I had also had a few contractors here already who took one look and told me I would need to demolish it and start over to the tune of 30k. They were clearly convinced it was just too big of a job and labor intensive and they weren't interested in "repairing" it. Frustrated, I looked for a "handyman". Hiring Tony as a handyman is akin to hiring an accomplished artist to paint your house. I don't doubt he can do anything that falls under the handyman category (and for a very competitive, reasonable price), but he can do so much more. He is an artist, a perfectionist, intelligent (if not brilliant), highly skilled carpenter (highly skilled, period), kind, personable, hardworking and, best of all, very affordable. He thought about the project a great deal before laying out my options, came by the house several times before being hired to make sure what he planned to do would work, quoted me prices I could afford, and was able to start work almost immediately. After 2 solid uninterrupted work weeks, my pergola is now safe, solid and secure (which would have been enough for the money I paid), but is also now breathtakingly beautiful. Tony not only added structural support, but mouldings here and there to make the existing pergola stronger and more stylish than it had ever been before. He also took preventive measures to assure that what caused the Pergola to fail and deteriorate in the first place would not happen again. Very smart, talented, reliable, neat, punctual, honest and fair, he takes extraordinary pride in his work. He and his workers were an absolute joy to see and be around, worked rain or shine, and sometimes stayed late into the evening. In addition to the pergola, they rewired the electric, replaced a light fixture, restored a cupola on my garage roof, painted the pergola and cupola, and power washed my siding, fence and patio/pool area. They finished about 2 weeks ago and I have already called him back to give me estimates on two more projects. I can't recommend anyone more highly (though I've had plenty of other work done through the years) and feel absolutely blessed to have found them and hired them for this restoration project. I plan on calling Tony when I'm ready to gut and reno the first floor of my house. He's that good."

"Carlos had previously performed work on my home, and his work was outstanding. We asked him to bid residing the house. His quote was very competitive and he made great effort to assist us in choosing the materials and colors. He began the job on schedule and finished on schedule. His attention to detail is astonishing. The siding looks spectacular, as do the new leaders and gutters. Gorgeous work! Carlos is a perfect gentleman, and we made sure he and his crew had plenty of cold drinks and a cool place to retreat to from the summer heat. While he was doing the job, we had an extremely violent thunderstorm that produced winds recorded at over 80 mph. Nothing came loose whatsoever. Indeed, several of my neighbors suffered wind damage to their siding. I sent Carlos over to see what he could do. He and his crew repaired the senior citizen's siding and because we had a very rainy day, replaced the man's kitchen sink and installed a new toilet. No wasted days due to weather. The neighbor raved about the work.... Finally, as the siding was going up, I asked Carlos if he would be interested in replacing our 335 feet of fencing. He gave us an excellent price, and the day the siding was finished, 42 sections of fence was delivered. Two days later, the fence was beautifully installed and all waste, including tree limbs and shrubs I removed, were carted off in a dumpster. Much to our surprise, Carlos stopped by a few days later and replaced a roof shingle on one of our bay windows. It wasn't his responsibility, but he made a point to make everything flawless. Carlos Espinoza Home Improvement is highly recommended. We will surely use them again."

"Eddie was great to work with! We had a limited time frame to adhere to town inspections and Eddie and his team knew exactly what we needed and quickly got the job done. The results were great and even the inspector acknowledged the impressive repair. They were able to put a knocked out garage wall back on the foundation and repair the interior dry wall. I would recommend this company for any professional contract work due to their reasonable price, ease to work with and quality of work."

"We are beyond grateful to Mike and his team at Purely Paint for the paint jobs they did on our bedrooms. They were professional from start to finish. Mike responded within an hour of me reaching out and after asking a few questions and requesting a few photos he provided a quote which was reasonable compared to his competitors. He provided his team’s availability and was able schedule the job within a week. He came to treat one of the more complex walls two days advance and the had his team complete the main job which they were able to complete in half a day. Notably, since we had chosen a dark navy color for the master bedroom they recommended a third coat of paint to ensure the quality of the color and went through the trouble of doing so even though it took them extra time. We could not be happier with results and will definitely be recommending Mike to all our family & friends!"

Painters usually price a job by the square feet of the project. Sometimes they’ll include flat fees for fixed expenses, like overhead and permits.
We make finding a painter easy. Simple use our directory to find a painter. Here you can browse local pros, check their reviews and do your first screening without ever having to call. We’ve also prescreened all the pros for you, to give you peace of mind.
Interior painting makes for a doable DIY project. You can save some money and get a real sense of accomplishment by doing this yourself. And, with the right prep work – covering, taping and scraping – it’s fairly forgiving. But it takes a lot of time to move furniture, tape trim, prep the surface and cover your floor, let alone apply the actual paint. Instead, save yourself the time and hassle and find a local interior painter.
Leave exterior painting to the pros. Not only do you need to worry about the type and quality of the paint, you’ll also likely need a ladder and considerably more prep work. You’ll likely need additional equipment like ladders, scaffolding and possibly a paint sprayer. It’s almost cheaper to just hire a pro. Talk to a local exterior house painter about your project.
