"My 91-year-old father needed work done on his house. The tile and grout on his second story balcony were no longer waterproof and subsequently, water leaked through the floor and caused damage to the garage ceiling. The garage was located directly below the balcony. After years of water soaking the rafters, beams, plywood and drywall, part of the ceiling collapsed. Upon further inspection, there was severe rotting of wood and material between the garage ceiling and the balcony floor. We noticed that Horizon was doing a very nice remodeling job on a neighbor's house. I spoke with a worker who referred me to David Eskin, a member of the Horizon management team. I also spoke with the homeowner, and they were very pleased with the work Horizon was doing. David came over, met with my father and me, inspected the damage and gave us a reasonable estimate. We signed a contract, which included proof of Horizon's contractor's license, worker compensation insurance and bonding. These were very important to my father; he wanted no liability for the project. We were more than satisfied with David and his workers. Everything that David promised was done. The project was completed in a timely manner and there were no add Ons or surprises. The workers quality of work was great; they were professional, friendly and clean. David constantly communicated with us and always gave us updates on the progress. If I had a concern, he immediately addressed it, with no excuses or upselling. The garage ceiling and balcony looks perfect, all of the stucco work and paint matches exactly to what it looked like fifty years ago when it was brand new. The experience with David and Horizon could not have been smoother. I mostly dealt with David by text and kept my elderly father out of the process to eliminate any stress on my father's part. I highly recommend David and Horizon for any home project. David is very professional, personable and responds immediately to any questions or concerns. They made our home project very smooth and with the least amount of stress as possible. We are very pleased with the finished project. I would not hesitate to use them again."

"Mike is hands down the best contractor we have ever worked with!! He did a full tear down and rebuild of our staircase as well a a few other major projects. He is a true master at his craft! He was timely, finished the project per plan and budget. He also has other contractors he coordinates with who were fantastic. He even built a gate for my kids while the staircase was down ( we still have it up because itâ s so cute) you wonâ t find many contractors that take things like that into consideration. If youâ re going to have a contractor in your home you want to feel comfortable, youâ ll get that with Mike and a very beautiful project in the end. "First off, we tried to find someone that could build a porch cover that would look like it was built with the house, and not just some cheesy looking after thought. It's really hard to find anyone willing to do any work these days. Ray and Don came out and we explained what we were looking for. They told me and my wife what their idea was for the cover, and said they'd email the estimate. A few days later we got the estimate, and honestly, it was a bit more than we were expecting. We had a few more estimates, some less money, but we just weren't comfortable with the contractors and their recommendations. About 2 weeks later, I called Ray again and asked if he'd be able to provide some form of a drawing or sketch of his idea so we could better understand what they were thinking of doing to our house. Ray said he had recently started using the Sketch Up app, and would be happy to come by and show us his drawing. That was very helpful, and was the reason we decided to go with Ray and Don. Once we signed our contract, the lumber and supplies were delivered 2 days later, and work began the same day. Don and Ray were here every morning by 8:00, and worked all day. Anytime they had a subcontractor scheduled, they made sure they were here on time, and supervised all aspects of the job. At the end of each day, they cleaned up the front porch area and made it look as if they hadn't even been there. With all the work done, it took about 2 weeks. Don and Ray were both extremely friendly, and made having the work done very easy. They were very conscientious about the fact that we were alway home, and if our dogs were in the backyard, they always made sure the gate was closed. I would definitely recommend Wishon Construction, and will probably be using them again in the near future for another patio cover project."
