"TLDR: This is a great plumbing company and Harris is my current go-to trustworthy plumber. I highly recommend you give HG a call for an estimate if you need plumbing work. I really loved all the work, and I'm rather difficult to please. My experience (over last few months in 2024): HG Plumbing installed our new hot SS water storage tank, a new toilet for a 1/2 bath, and a LG steam washer and dryer (GAS) in our new laundry room. Harris also added a new dryer exhaust vent to bring us up to code, which was quite tricky due to the how the old (incorrect) vent was run, and he came up with a great customized solution for us, which none of the other three plumbers I met with suggested. 10/10 on ALL the work. Harris and his team was on time, easy to communicate with (text/phone/email--he responds to everything!), PROFESSIONAL, and cleaned up nicely after themselves. Plumbing on the North Shore feels very expensive and HG prices are actually reasonable for the area, especially considering the excellent quality of the services. Invoices are up front and clear and Harris is extremely knowledgable, personable and easy to talk to (answered all my questions and concerns--and had many). We discussed whole house water filtration and few other upgrades done the line, and Harris is an amazing resource on all things plumbing and local/code issues. For those with MCS or healthy home concerns: I have sensitivities to many home improvement odors/chemicals and Harris was very understanding and respectful of this. Even the caulk he used was low VOC and finished off gassing extremely quickly. Normally I take 3-4 estimates before committing for non-emergency/maintenance work, but from now on I'm just calling HG. Done right is everything in plumbing and much more cost effective in the long run."

He quoted me a very reasonable price over the phone (when previously I would have paid a lot more from another quote) and I gratefully wrote him a check. Download there app-it will help give you specific estimates on prices. They are professional, kind and work quickly even on short notice and I highly recommend this company. They completed the job on time, at the price originally quoted. This particular job took several days. Each day they cleaned up nicely, answered any questions and made sure the job was done right. "A few months back, my wife and I found Lazer's (owner of NYC Plumbing, Heating and Drain Cleaning) contact info via Google HomeAdvisor as we needed to get a boiler installed, but luckily at that time the boiler company provided free installations - however, we saved Lazer's contact info incase we needed further work. Earlier today, I needed to get an urgent blockage/clog fixed in our basement sink and reached out to Lazer, who was beyond helpful in terms of pricing and availability. He sent one of his workers (Elton) who was not only able to resolve/fix the issue in a matter of mins, but Elton was also kind enough to fix/seal a pipe under the sink which our contractors messed up while installing it. Not only that, but Elton also saw my family and I struggling with a smart thermostat and he went out of his way to help us with the thermostat as well - Jack of all trades!! Lets just say, moving forward I know for sure Lazer and his team will be my go-to people for any plumbing needs. Not only are they fast, helpful and respond right away; but they are very knowledgeable, kind, respectful and very reasonably priced. Overall, amazing work and very reliable!! Highly recommend!!"

"Anderson is a miracle worker, installing a shower in our basement bathroom when other contractors said it couldn’t be done or would be outrageously expensive. "I can't say enough good things about Jimmy- He responded to an emergency sewer backup & when he was here he advised me of the urgent need to replace a VERY old basement slop sink with rotting plumbing (I didn't even realize it) He installed the new sink, reorganized the piping, installed new cutoff valves, changed a bunch of other hoses,etc. He is prompt, courteous, neat & reasonable.
