"We chose to go with Modern Vision Remodeling Experts and are very pleased with the outcome. We started this bathroom renovation because of a cracked tub and a toilet in need of replacement. Because this was a 100+ year old home with galvanized pipes, we ended up doing a complete re-plumb and adding both a hot water heater and water softener to keep our appliances in top condition. Although this project went beyond the original scope, we feel the job was done professionally and in a timely manner. Elly has excellent customer service skills and goes the extra mile for his clients. We would definitely recommend!"

"We needed more space, so we decided to add on to our home. We found that we made the perfect choice with Ace Remodeling TX. Rose continuously updated us throughout the process and made us feel comfortable about our decision. The team worked efficiently and made sure the addition blended perfectly with the existing structure. They also helped us choose materials that matched the rest of the house. The addition turned out great and we are so thankful for the extra space."

Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
