"Manna Painting and Renovations is a great company to work with. When Herbert came to give me a quote he was honest. He could have up charged me and told me to paint the molding but he was honest and give me a fair quote. He was knowledgeable. His staff was friendly and prompt everyday. The team was on schedule and completed everything on time. Also we had a gas leak and his team members promptly warned us about the outdoor leak which was a serious matter. They have great customer service and accommodated to our last minute paint changes. I highly recommend them. Very friendly, trustworthy and I will be hiring again."

"RL Builders over delivered on all fronts. Ryan listened carefully to my requests, needs, and concerns and asked me clarifying questions to make sure we had a shared understanding of the work and priorities. I live in a 110 year old house in a historic neighborhood with strict requirements for exterior work. Ryan was cognizant of the importance of following the guidelines. He updated me on progress and completed the job 2 weeks ahead of the schedule we had agreed upon. He was fastidious in cleaning up after each day and in the prompt removal of waste and debris. Great design, great construction, friendly and professional. I am thrilled that he has agreed to tackle additional projects."

Painters usually price a job by the square feet of the project. Sometimes they’ll include flat fees for fixed expenses, like overhead and permits.

Interior painting makes for a doable DIY project. You can save some money and get a real sense of accomplishment by doing this yourself. And, with the right prep work – covering, taping and scraping – it’s fairly forgiving. But it takes a lot of time to move furniture, tape trim, prep the surface and cover your floor, let alone apply the actual paint. Instead, save yourself the time and hassle and find a local interior painter.
Leave exterior painting to the pros. Not only do you need to worry about the type and quality of the paint, you’ll also likely need a ladder and considerably more prep work. You’ll likely need additional equipment like ladders, scaffolding and possibly a paint sprayer. It’s almost cheaper to just hire a pro. Talk to a local exterior house painter about your project.
