Remodels, Remodels, Basement Additions
"Brian and Michael not only designed and built out my basement from an empty cement space into a beautiful lower level of living space in my home. But, they guided us through the whole process from permitting to inspections. Everyone who sees my finished basement raves about the design plan maximizing the light in the area and the efficient usage of the basement space. From The full bathroom to the additional storage space to the two new bedrooms with walk-in closets it is truly amazing. Many of their design plans I didn't even think to ask for but followed their recommendation and was delighted with the outcome. I would be happy to show pictures or provide a reference. They were a pleasure to have in my home both very respectful, responsible, timely and kept us informed throughout the construction. I was very comfortable having them in the house while my family was living there."

Remodeling
"My project was a bit unusual: the leveling of a double wide mobile home. John was very thorough, going above-and-beyond in so many ways: patiently explaining the leveling process (my first experience living in a mobile home) and what work was required; reviewing with me the many pictures he had taken while examining the structural underpinnings of the mobile home; even repairing the skirting damaged by a less-then-responsible cable/Internet â  guyâ  ! John has an exceptional work ethic and cares about the quality of his work, as well as the people he serves. He was a pleasure to work with and I will most definitely use his services in the future. I recommend John 100+%!"

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
