"Frank was so great to work with on turning our 2 bedrooms into 3 bedrooms upstairs in our house. He always communicated with us promptly about what he had done and what would be coming up for the next day or days. I would not hesitate to recommend him to others who needed a good contractor to get a job done well. Thank you Frank for making our home renovation go smoothly!"

"Professional, considerate, on time, beautifully finished. This was our first major indoor renovation and contacted three different companies. I was so worried about a great many things including dust and such and they were so proactive to minimize any debris or disturbance. The project was done as promised and smoothly. Peter was heading the project and had great ideas about placement and style and patiently dealt with all my concerns. When we are ready to re-do our next bathroom, they will be doing the work."

"IĆ¢ m glad I got these guys. They showed up 45 minutes after I called them and their work was top notch. They used flexible steel hoses and put a mat under the water heater which prior installers never bothered to do. It was like they were doing work for their own family. Highly recommend."

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Hereās a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractorās qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a proās HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesnāt stop here. Once youāve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
