"We hired Total Renovations to finish our basement. They were great to work with. They met all of our needs and worked within our budget. Communication was good, and Russell or Tyron would visit to check the progress and ensure the inspections went well at every step. All work was completed timely, and within the estimated timeline. Any questions or concerns were discussed and addressed. The quality of construction was excellent, even amongst the uneven poured concrete basement foundation walls. The studded walls are all plum and the drywall finish is smooth and clean. The basement remained very clean and tidy throughout the project. No lose materials and the floor was always swept clean. He checked in with me as he was getting ready to wrap up and asked me to take a careful look to make sure that everything looked great. They also wrapped the bottom posts with white PVC, which added a beautiful, polished look. I went from having the worst deck in the neighborhood to the absolute best! In addition to the deck, they repaired my bay window, where water damage had caused rotted joists. They replaced it with new joists, flashing, wrapping paper and PVC for added durability and long-term maintenance benefits. They also replaced my high-level gable vent with PVC, ensuring it will last longer with minimal upkeepâ no small feat considering my home is three stories above ground.
