"I hired B.H. Developers to do concrete demolition and then repouring around our entire house after a foundation repair. Samuel went above and beyond to deliver a product that we absolutely in love with. A beautiful new retaining wall with steps, new steps on the side of the house, driveway, and a path with new steps in the front yard. All with integrated lighting."

"Our detached garage was in bad shape - leaky and sagging roof, wood rot, and broken and missing fascia boards. Paul and Vicki from Cunningham Construction came to the rescue with a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, craftsmanship and problem-solving. They also were able to not only do it within our budget, for much less than any other quotes we received, and in the estimated timeframe. Our garage is in good shape and looks much better than before. To top it all off, Paul and Vicki were great to work with - honest, dependable, flexible and considerate. It is clear that they take great pride in their work and care about their customers. The next time I need work done, they are the first we'll be calling. We highly recommend Cunningham Construction!"

Additions and Remodels, General Contracting
"John and his team have done many projects for us (shed to fully functioning insulated office, deck, built in shelving, roof etc) and most recently remodeled two bathrooms for me. One was a full hall bath renovation and another was a master bathroom with new configuration and an added a walk in closet. John and his team were on time or early, clean, and very efficient. When all things went according to plan they were even able to finished my hall bath a week early. John was very professional providing us with a contract and a payment schedule matching the progression of each project. His work is beautiful, and his ability to listen to my ideas while informing me of what was able and not in our old home was very helpful. I will be using John again soon to remodel our living room/kitchen layout. I highly recommend John and his team for your next project or projects!"

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
