"Our radiant heating system is 18 years old. We have used 3 different companies in the fall and the spring to come out and turn the system on and off. Since October the pressure has been low and we noticed the system was failing. We consulted with one of the previous contractors after we noticed the heat was not coming on, although the pilot light remained on. After a few weeks, the system failed again. I googled radiant heat specialists and noticed that Albuquerque Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling had a repair service, specifically, for radiant heating systems. Tanner and Kevin came out, diagnosed the problem, and gave us an estimate of the cost to repair. The next morning they replaced the pressure tank and the pressure relief valve, tightened up leaking boiler pipes, removed the air pockets from the radiant floor pipes, and moved the pressure tank closer to the ceiling. They showed us what to look for on the gauges, what pressure to maintain when the boiler is on and off, how to determine if the boiler pump isnâ t working. We have every confidence these specialists know what they are doing and how to maintain our system. We definitely plan to use this service in the future for all of our plumbing, heating, and cooling needs!"

Criminal Background Check

Who does HomeAdvisor background check?

The owner or principal of each business in HomeAdvisor's network (with the exception of Corporate Accounts) must pass a background check. Business owners or principals with felony arrests that carry a pending decision or who are convicted of felonies in the past 7 years ago will not be admitted to the network. Businesses or owners convicted misdemeanors or felonies, or who have dismissed charges or arrests on their records involving rape/incest, sex offenses, or lewd and lascivious behavior at any point in time will not be admitted to our network.

Our background check does not exclude service professionals unless the crime at issue is a felony.

*The comprehensiveness of the NCD varies by state. Please be aware that the reporting in the NCD is particularly limited in the following states: AL, CO, DE, GA, ID, IL, KS, LA, ME, MA, MI, MS, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, SD, UT, VA, VT, and WY. After initial admission to the HomeAdvisor network, businesses are re-screened if a concern is reported to HomeAdvisor.
