"Fred Leddingham and his entire team are very professional and do excellent work. I had Leddingham Construction repaint the front of our house after hail damage. They also repaired soffits, patched and painted our front porch & pillars, re-stained the front door, sealed and refastened loose boards and painted all trim. Looks like a new house. From estimate to completion in less than one week. Highly recommend."

"Chip is the most knowledgeable HVAC person I have ever met. He is kind, professional, and very well educated in his field. He took the time and effort to listen to all my concerns and met me with a reasonable, dare I sayâ ¦ brilliant solution. Prices are incredibly fair compared to the bigger companies in town. If you want to be treated fairly and get a good value for services, call Lee immediately. Upper Arlington customer."

"I had others out for estimates. I didn't appreciate being talked down to but unfortunately, I have seen that a lot over the decades being a women. I felt treated with respect by ODP and felt my project was taken seriously. They took pictures, showed me what and how they would effect repairs before painting and then submitted a reasonable estimate. They were very considerate of my property and they did an amazing job on repairing and painting the surface of my patio fence that was in a very deteriorated condition."

Painters usually price a job by the square feet of the project. Sometimes they’ll include flat fees for fixed expenses, like overhead and permits.

Interior painting makes for a doable DIY project. You can save some money and get a real sense of accomplishment by doing this yourself. And, with the right prep work – covering, taping and scraping – it’s fairly forgiving. But it takes a lot of time to move furniture, tape trim, prep the surface and cover your floor, let alone apply the actual paint. Instead, save yourself the time and hassle and find a local interior painter.
Leave exterior painting to the pros. Not only do you need to worry about the type and quality of the paint, you’ll also likely need a ladder and considerably more prep work. You’ll likely need additional equipment like ladders, scaffolding and possibly a paint sprayer. It’s almost cheaper to just hire a pro. Talk to a local exterior house painter about your project.
