"I was super impressed with PRHI from start to finish. They built several interior walls and doorways to reconfigure some space in my apartment to better suit my family?s needs. They were extremely professional, organized and efficient. They worked well with the staff in my co-op and respected the building?s rules and regulations. They were easy to communicate with and super responsive to my needs. I can?t say enough good things about my experience. I didn?t have the time or patience to do much research or obtain a bunch of estimates. I simply found PRHI on Angi, had a good feeling upon meeting them and just went with it. I have no regrets :)"

"We enlisted the services of Zamudio Contracting to completely demolish and renovate our basement kitchen, and we couldnâ t be more pleased with the results. From the initial consultation to project completion, their team was professional, reliable, and on time. They offered valuable ideas and creative solutions to expand and improve the kitchen layout, and giving us additional countertop space while staying within our budget. They installed new plumbing, appliances, cabinets, and granite countertops. We are so happy we hired them and for our beautiful new kitchen!"

"Al and his team were amazing. He provided his expertise and ensured that the job was done on time. I appreciated his insight and honesty when it came to materials and costs. Al and his team of contractors were able to complete- what originally was the kitchen- floors throughout the apartment, my bathroom, all the finishing touches and the best part has been my kitchen!! For a small footprint the layout and the results are just incredible. Flamur and his team(kitchen cabinets/counter-backsplash) were equally as courteous and knowledge in their work. For sure recommend!!"

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
