"I had my bath tub replaced with a walk in shower and a new vanity & top installed. Robert constantly consulted with me and made very sure I was happy with the products. He cared that his work lived up to my expectations. I trust him completely because he earned that trust. I absolutely recommend Apple Plumbing!"

"I would highly recommend Plumbing Solutions of Idaho in general, and the tech, Matt in particular for being professional at every step of the way. I accepted Matt's guaranteed price over others. The price given was higher than others, but the job was mostly hidden in the wall in my very old house, and I accepted it on the strength of his description of the repair he was prepared to do. He showed up on time, 2 days later, prepared for what could have be a 6 or right job, with right tools and was very conscious of keeping the kitchen clean. After tenting the area, he crawled into the cabinet with a respirator and monkey suit to cut out the plaster to get to the leaking galvanized pipe, keeping the dust waaay down. What he came out with was a 75 year old 16" long pipe that had rusted clean through for it's full length. The best part for me, the customer, was that, when he found he could release the very rotten galvanized kitchen pipe from the cast stack, he gave me the choice of doing the repair we had agreed, or he would do the repair that was now needed under the new circumstances AND reduce the charge appropriately. As a result, despite accepting the higher "firm price quote" I got the right repair at a price lower than I would have gotten had I taken the lowest bid. That's the kind of honesty and character I'll work with every time!"

Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
