"Marvin just completed our job(s) in Brookwood, and we couldn't be happier. He is pleasant to work with, fair, and highly competent. He does what he says he will do. We had a variety of work; repair to a metal roof, completion of a picket fence, and repair of a porch foundation. Marvin took the time to do the job right. One of his best attributes is his communication; he tells you how he will do the job, and why he's doing it that way. I've worked in one phase of construction or another for many years, but live in Texas. When my mother-in-law in Brookwood has needed work done on her place, it is usually less trouble to drive to Alabama and do the work myself, than deal long distance with jack-leg contractors who don't show up, and overcharge for poor quality work. Marvin has changed the ball game for us. We will definitely use him again. If you want somebody you can trust, who will do the job right, call Marvin."

"Jose painted the exterior trim and garage door on my house. Great rate and responded to all communication promptly. The team arrived on time, completed the job on time, cleaned up after themselves and did great work. I had such a great experience I had them return this spring to pressure wash the house, repair and re-stain my fence. Another great job - I would highly recommend Jose and his team."

Painters usually price a job by the square feet of the project. Sometimes they’ll include flat fees for fixed expenses, like overhead and permits.

Interior painting makes for a doable DIY project. You can save some money and get a real sense of accomplishment by doing this yourself. And, with the right prep work – covering, taping and scraping – it’s fairly forgiving. But it takes a lot of time to move furniture, tape trim, prep the surface and cover your floor, let alone apply the actual paint. Instead, save yourself the time and hassle and find a local interior painter.
Leave exterior painting to the pros. Not only do you need to worry about the type and quality of the paint, you’ll also likely need a ladder and considerably more prep work. You’ll likely need additional equipment like ladders, scaffolding and possibly a paint sprayer. It’s almost cheaper to just hire a pro. Talk to a local exterior house painter about your project.
