Taras and Athex didnâ t just provide good workmanship, they also demonstrated their trustworthiness through their actions: I needed siding repair at the same time as lumber prices in the US hit historic new heights (during Covid lockdowns when supply chain issues and new tariffs had driven prices sharply upwards); Taras worked diligently to find appropriate material alternatives through suppliers in order to keep costs adorable, and kept me appraised of the constantly shifting materials prices during the project, as well as how best to strategize around them without going over budget. Not only was his workmanship and moral character impeccable, but he is cheerful and personable to speak with. I do not know much of the rest of his team personally, but if his goodwill and character are as infectious as our interactions indicated, then I have no doubt the rest of his team are equally upstanding. I was so impressed by the work and craftsmanship of the initial project that I have consulted Taras/Athex for several additional home improvement, including fresh exterior paint and a tricky install of Murphy-style bookshelf-doors.
