I hired him to stain my deck, but what I got was really restoration. He trimed the shrubs encroaching on the deck, thoroughly pressure, washed it, spent over a day on his knees sanding the deck, replaced rotten boards and then gave it two sprayed on coats of stain. His job for me included walls (some with wallpaper stripping and skim coating required) originally stained doors, both paneled and louvered (with frames, molding and baseboards), and a papered stairwell with a high half-wall, the final motivation that led me to a Pro. I will be forever grateful that Pro was Oscar Vico. Skilled and adept with the actual prep and painting, his efficient organizing and planning for every step was equally impressive. He always knew how to end the day at a logical break point, as he cruised to the finish line. His array of tools (including a kind of telescoping ladder that made short work of my stairway ceiling) was dazzling.
