"I had insulation blown in between my floor joists supporting the main floor of the house. Installation was timely and meticulous. Mesh fabric was installed tight and secured with staples driven in with an air gun, evenly spaced 1 inch apart. Insulation blown in, filling the space between the joists and every crevice. The fabric gave my cellar a finished look, resembling a drywall ceiling. They left the job clean and better than when they started. They used top-of-the-line materials, tools and equipment. "This job was to renovate my home in preparation to sell it in early March. It consisted of a kitchen and 3 bathroom upgrade, flooring and lighting fixture replacement, painting and removal of 3 popcorn ceilings. Beginning the second week of January, the entire job was completed within 6 weeks. When first hired, the principal of Palm Construction carefully tuned in to my specific needs and targeted timeframe, offering succinct suggestions respects colors, style and quality of products used. Specialists in each trade worked cohesively with each other, as well as alongside other contractors that I had personally hired separately for windows and pool replaster. Although I had intended to live in the property during the renovation, I quickly realized that my occupancy was impeding progress, so I made the decision to vacate the premises. This was especially important during the removal of popcorn ceilings which contained asbestos. The work moved seamlessly from the removal of kitchen counters, sink, cabinet doors, appliances and flooring to the demolition of 3 bathrooms. Timely mutual decisions were made about fixtures, mirrors, flooring, sinks, vanities, paint and hardware, allowing the job to progress steadily to reach very precise goals. Along the way, it was determined that the air ducts needed replacing and AC would be a welcome addition to the total job. These issues were discussed and explained clearly and quoted at a reasonable cost - so I decided to add the change orders. Although I had never been involved with a home renovation in the past, I was very impressed with the patience and care taken to communicate with me throughout the entire job. I was a demanding customer with an expectation of perfectionism and Palm Construction was up for the challenge. Beyond the scope of the original job, Palm went above and beyond with finishing touches and little extras here and there. They've come back to help me even after completion of the job, when I needed some additional retrofits for my appliance installation, which was not even part of the original job. I know that I can count on Palm Construction to be responsive and willing for anything that may come up in the future. I learned that they are a GC that you can totally trust and rely on. In summary, I am in awe of the completed work. My friends and neighbors are astonished with the transformation of my home. The end product is flawless and most impressive. My realtor has already offered Palm Construction opportunities for other jobs. My neighbors have asked for their contact information to get quotes. The project included hauling away both stacked appliances from a 2nd floor laundry room, removing the washer pan, rebuilding the floor, and laying out new vinyl. "The sales rep, Chris, who responded to my request for quote can only be described as thoroughly professional. He provided me a formal quote which, when the PSE rebate was factored in, was substantially less than the other two quotes I received. The other two quotes were not based on site visits, and several items discovered by Chris would likely not even have been addressed by the others. I signed the contract on the spot. Added batts and blown-in to bring my 40 year old house up to R-49. Also installed proper ducting from two bathroom vent fans to roof vents, and added soffit vents to meet code. Raul and his crew arrived on time at 9:00, and finished at 12:00. I was immediately impressed when the first thing Raul did was lay down plastic from the front door to the attic access. There was virtually nothing to clean up when he and the crew were done. Totally satisfied."
