"Originally hired MJ Masonry to replace an existing railroad tie retaining wall and like most projects there was mission creep. I asked Michael of MJ Masonry if they were interested in taking on 2 additional projects: replacing an old stockade fence with a new one, and replacing a cement walkway with a stone walkway. We agreed on the price of the 2 additions and all projects were completed to the original schedule within 3 weeks of the start date. Details of the projects: 1. Retaining Stone Wall is over 130 linear feet 2. Stockade Fence is approximately 88 linear feet 3. Stone Walkway is approximately 63 square feet The workers lead by Jose are consummate professionals. They went above and beyond what is required to do their job. It was the little things like cleaning up after themselves and repairing annoyance type things that is not in the contract without being asked. At the end of the entire project, my wife and I were so pleased with MJ Masonry's work, we gave them a modest bonus. The icing on the cake was when some of our neighbors coming over and telling us the day after the projects completion that the Retaining Stone Wall, the Stockade Fence, and the Stone Walkway looks beautiful."

"I hired Elmer to replace a railroad tie retaining wall with a modern stone block retaining wall and install granite steps. He also made a paver walkway. He also cleared off vines and weeds from an existing rock wrap wall, installed fabric and replaced rocks to prevent future weeds. He made new flower beds, placed my preference for low maintenance plants, and placed river rocks in the beds. It all looks fantastic! I plan to hire Elmer for my future needs⠦⠦now I need to save for a new driveway!"
