"Prior to picking Quality 1st Maintenance, I had picked four company's that were HIGHLY recommended in Angie's listing. One company, I felt did a great job in assessing the project, and in explaining what needed to be done. Thought they were a bit on the high side. Two more came in, one total me that there was no need to put in a stainless steel flue, and that it was a waste a money. Thankfully, I had done my due diligence and understood that what he was telling me was not only dangerous but wrong. The other company, though very close to the first one, had not wanted to get up to the roof, I told him that I understood the house very difficult to get there. Now comes Oscar, he came, looked at the outside, gave his perception of what he had to do. Took out the ladder and came back down, and told me exactly what I had thought. The flashing that was done from Power Remodeling, needed to be removed. Oscar said that there was no way that he would be able to do a good job if the flashing was not removed, the chimney needed to be at the house line. Right there the decision was made. Not only did he quote me a fair price, he actually made sense he what he said on the work that needed to be done. I would highly recommend him. UPDATE: After having the chimney done, a bit more than a year later I called Oscar for a reason, to have the chimney protected as he had suggested. Oscar accommodated his schedule to come over and look at it, get it done. My family was very happy with the work. Professional, respectful, was willing to answer concerns that the family had and spent time explaining the process of protecting the bricks. Again, would highly recommend him."

"Our 30 yr old brick patio had seen its better days and we were ready for a makeover. So I went on Angie?s list and found E K Masonry. Made a call to Eljon and he came to our home, reviewed the area and gave us not just an estimate but ideas as well to help us decide on a final product. After a few days deciding and looking over a Cambridge catalogue he provided us we decided to go with Eljon and never so glad we did. Eljon and his Crew are very cordial, friendly, down to earth and polite. The day they started they wasted no time getting down to it. They worked like ?killer bees? and in 2 days they had our 30 yr old brick patio turned into a beautiful paver haven. My wife and I both were lost for words. It?s just an awesome makeover and we couldn?t be happier with it AND the cost. I highly recommend them! E K Masonry will definitely be our ?One Stop Company? for all our future masonry/paver projects. My only regret is I was unable to give them 10+ stars!"

That was the attitude of perfection that we were most impressed with. Beni seemed to regard our home as if he was working on his own home . "My chimney was significantly cracked and had pieces of brick falling off of it. Additionally, I was getting water in my fireplace every time it rained hard. I called Saul at Chimney Safe; he scheduled an appointment immediately and was prompt in arriving. After thoroughly inspecting my fireplace, going into the crawlspace in the lower level of the house to look at the boiler/furnace, and going onto the roof to check the chimney (something none of the other contractors I had out did), Saul gave me an extremely good quote to do a substantial rebuild of my chimney. He also provided me with some tips on how to more efficiently use my fireplace. Saul is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, punctual, and friendly with a great work ethic. The completed chimney looks so good that two roofing contractors who were at my house the next day both commented on the quality and craftsmanship. I wholeheartedly recommend Saul and Chimney Safe, and would definitely use them in the future."

"Edwin and his team were very professional. They removed a tree in my front yard, and I was amazed and impressed at how effective and efficient the team was. I was very impressed with how prompt they were, they arrived before 8 am to start the job. The clean up of my front yard was impeccable, my lawn looked exactly how they came and saw it. Edwin explained the process and the timing of the tree removal and it was executed just as he explained. Edwin was very pleasant and extremely patient, he answered all my (many) questions.
