"Val and his crew did EXCEPTIONAL WORK! They removed entire outside wall siding (including window), Installed new window, and siding, trimmed and painted everything. They installed new roof/gutter flashing and brought all up to code. Inside of house, replaced and repaired drywall, and matched old paint perfectly. Val is a professional - reasonably priced - thorough. Quite honest. Exceptional customer service. I'm truly impressed with him professionally, A rare find! Would highly recommend for any job."

Decks, Bathroom Remodels
"We needed our deck redone so it is all one level and a new patio/deck cover installed. This was not an easy task because they had to raise portions of the deck and run the boards in one direction. All of this with using only the existing decking. They did an amazing job and the deck is actually more solid now than before. They did everything we asked of them and then some. The patio/deck cover is top notch. It is a 16 foot by 30 foot cover so it is not something small. They used joist hangers and hurricane braces so this cover/awning will never move. There are a lot of words there to say that we would absolutely hire this company again. The whole crew is professional, experienced and customer friendly. Amazing work. Thank you."

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
