"We never expected this project to go so smoothly!!! Gary is an excellent communicator. From our first conversations to the last, he has anticipated any issues that might arise and kept us informed about decisions and timelines. All of his subcontractors were excellent. He was here on site constantly, overseeing everything, tidying up and checking in. He kept us up to date with every step of the project and was quick to respond to any questions. When there was a change in cost of materials he was upfront about it, contacted us right away, and gave us choices. There were no surprises. Even though the project has now ended and was fully paid, he just followed up with our garage door vendor to keep things on track and had the sales guy called me with updates. Above and beyond!! I can't say enough about how great this company is."

"Was the first to reply to my offer. I was a bit perplexed that some of the others did not reply, but he was also tied for the lowest price. Was ready to do it almost immediately. Porch part of the project was done a week after the contract was signed, final touchup of the garage trim delayed because of weather for 3 days. No problem, He also sent pictures of the completed work. Job looks done."

"We had a concrete driveway put in and Bryant, Will, and their crew were great. They were helpful and professional from planning through completion of our project. They went above and beyond what we asked for and they did a beautiful job on the driveway. We would give them more than five stars if we could, and recommend them to everyone."

"Tony and his crew were great to work with. Everyday they started by laying down tarps to walk on so that carpet would not get tracked on. At the end of each workday, all tools & materials were picked up and the site cleaned and swept. Work quality from initial framing to the final paint coat was done meticulously. Very pleased. We would absolutely recommend this contractor."

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
