"Arrival was prompt and on time as promised. The tech was friendly and professional. He knew exactly what I wanted and got straight to work. The new vanity lights were installed, switches changed out and a Ring doorbell installed. Finished quicker than I expected. Good cost too."

"Mike and his associate replaced an electrical panel. His quote was very reasonable. His work was perfection. We had several quotes and Mike assessed our needs and gave us an honest quote. Mike and his assistant worked professionally and tidied up afterward."

Electrical for Additions and Remodels, Electrical Switches, Outlets, and Fixtures, Wiring and Panel Upgrades
"We shopped around a lot. Stellar came in strong for price and felt really confident with their consultation and project management. No project goes perfectly- wish I'd had them onsite during shower glass measurement and countertop installation- I should have requested-nothing major but small mistake may have been avoided. nice to have same crew throughout the project. Trusted them and we went out of town with no worries about our home. Worked with the Home Depot designer they recommended and she was great too. Wish I had consulted her for paint too- our schedules didn't align at the end- advice to plan it ALL on the front end. Would certainly recommend Steller and would use them again."

"The handyman was very friendly and honest. He started with replacing the cartridge in the old faucet. Then he found out the old faucet was too old to replace. He and I went to the home depot and I bought a faucet. He installed the new faucet with the same amount of money that he quoted me for. I really appreciated what this company did me. That is reasonable priced service."

"Erin was so kind and scheduled me the same week! I wish all people had her kindness and customer service skills., she is very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Jeff came out and did the work, Super nice guy, did a great job. Jeff is very experienced and knows this business. He is also dog friendly and that made a big difference since I have 2 dogs. He took the time to explain the job to me. And finished in a short amount of time. I will recommend this company to all my friends and family for any future electrical work! I definitely will be calling them back for future projects! Thank you Jeff and Erin for showing me that good customer service and expertise is still out there!"

A truly skilled, well-equipped professional with a truck full of parts that charges $100 an hour can be a much wiser choice than an inexperienced hack, working with inadequate tools and no parts, but charging much less. Often, more experienced professionals get the job done quickly with warrantied work.
2. Compare Travel ChargesRates reflect travel times. Travel charges can have a big impact on your costs and are in some ways easier to compare than hourly rates. Many electricians spend a third or more of their time navigating traffic on their way to a jobsite. Every contractor must find a way to pay for the expense of driving each day.
3. Bundle Repair Jobs TogetherWhen you feel it’s time to call a pro, review your list and then conduct a mini-inspection of your home. Look for faulty switches and dysfunctional or crowded outlets. When the electrician comes, you’ll save money and time by getting everything taken care of at once.
