"I recently hired Texas Vargas Electrical based on the reviews I read here on HomeAdvisor.com. When all the flooding rain came through Cypress, ours was the only home in Fairfield whose power could not be restored. It was Memorial Day Weekend and electricians were pretty unresponsive. Louis came immediately on Friday to restore our power, but warned us that it would go out again in the next storm because the main breaker was loose. Knowing that, along with some other info about the box that I won't go into detail about, we asked Louis to submit a quote to completely install an upgraded breaker box and bring it up to code. His pricing was wonderfully competitive and the work looks amazing. On a side note, Louis heard me talking about a plumber who said I needed to replace my 2-year-old water heater because they "no longer make the pilot switch for it." Louis's exact words were: "I think someone is taking you for a ride. Call the plumbing supplier I use and ask if they carry the part." Turned out, they do still manufacture the part and Rheem sent it to us for free! I had the opportunity to stop the plumber at the door and tell him to return the new water heater. :-) Thank you, Louis! You saved me $1000!!!
