"Working with John and Karen was an absolute pleasure. They are great at problem solving and never lose their cool! Doing a major renovation including a complete kitchen remodel and a master bath remodel always creates some unknown issues, but they made it all easy! We would definitely use them again, and in fact, are getting a quote for the remodel of our 3 additional bathrooms. In addition, I have provided their names to several others who are looking for similar work! If you choose them for your project, you will be VERY happy with the results! In addition, they stand behind whatever they do, so no worries there either!"

"Was looking for Attic Stairs to be installed in my garage to allow us access to this hidden space up above Matt came to our house and after discussing my project and his experience i signed on with him. Matt picked up all materials and came to our house fully equipped to handle this project. Matts prices were very fair and reasonable. Matt Communicated greatly during construction and always took the time to explain how work was progressing. This project was completed in one day however I asked Matt if he could lay some plywood flooring out so we could walk up there and store some misc. decorations. Matt again set up a date that he kept and finished project number 2 in a day. He cleaned up perfectly around the work site. I feel Matt is an excellent craftsman who has the experience and knowhow to deliver. He kept his word and did exactly as promised. We are extremely happy Matt answered our ad through Angies list. Thank You Matt and I will surely recommend you to others I know."

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
Sunset Beach Addition & Remodeling Contractors are rated 4.9 out of 5 based on 29 reviews of 29 pros.
