He recommended a "cool roof" which would not only extend the life of the existing roof, but also lower the inside temperature by several degrees. He applied a white silicone sealant and also repaired some termite damage. He was always on time, honest and believe it or not, did the work himself with the help of his assistant. He ensured I understood the pros and cons of the various materials and options: plywood with or without radiant heat barrier, felt or Deck Defense, metal flashing or WeatherLock, type of roof ventilation. The roof removal crew willingly covered my attic as requested to protect it from falling debris. They cleaned up the debris quite adequately even though they had to finish after dark..
