"I Had some termite Damage on an exterior wall. I got a few estimates, but it just appeared to me that these guys knew what they were talking about. So I hired them. They removed 2 windows, fixed the wall framing, replaced the windows in about 6 hours and didn’t stop when there was a light rain falling. Later on they did the sheet rock work and texturing, replaced the exterior siding, interior and exterior painting. It took a few days, but they worked around my work schedule and got the job done. I would definitely recommend, and if I need again in the future I would definitely use them. I am very pleased with everything they did."

"We hired a team through HomeAdvisor to clean the dryer vents at our business, and they did an outstanding job. They arrived on time, were very professional, and worked efficiently without disrupting our operations. The vents were thoroughly cleaned, and they even showed us before-and-after photos so we could see the difference. The airflow improved immediately, and we feel much more confident about the safety and performance of our equipment. Great service, fair pricing, and excellent communication throughout the process. I would definitely recommend them to other business owners who need reliable dryer vent cleaning."

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
