"Russ called us back right away when my husband and I were looking for someone to supply us an estimate for drywall install, taping and mudding. He supplied an estimate in a timely manner and scheduled a time to start the project. He showed up when he said he would and was very conscientious of his work. Russ was very tidy and left the workspace the way he began every time. He let us know when he would be back as our job took a span of a few days. Upon completion he asked if everything was up to our expectations and said to call him should anything come up. I will definitely reach out to Russ on our next project and recommend him to my friends and family, as well as recommend him to anyone reading this review."

"They are terrific. When you have a person like him and he does his stuff from scratch it is amazing!"

"Doug & his Associate painted the exterior of my cottage on the lake. It needed extensive scraping before the painting could be done, and was quite high in some places. They did an extra-ordinarily exquisite job. They were a joy to deal with. As a widow, I have encountered many contractors who disrespected women, and would intimidate me when giving an estimate, and would also take advantage as far as the amount of the estimate. Therefore, I would like to urge any widows who have also had bad experiences with contractors, to hire this company. Five stars is just not enough!"

"Gabe & his team came in and ripped out the remainder of our old flooring and put down new LVP for us in our entire main level. He was very knowledgeable with any of my questions, cleaned up his mess, and worked diligently and in a timely manner to get the project done. IĆ¢ d recommend his company for sure!"

You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractorās qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a proās HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesnāt stop here. Once youāve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
