"Rafael and his crew did a great job. They worked long days to get the job done quickly and they did a great job painting the entire interior of my home, plus they painted and stained my stairs. Rafael kept me posted throughout the process and he was knowledge and helpful with questions. I highly recommend."

"We are so thrilled with the whole new beautiful deck Ricardo and his crew built. He is professional and his quote was very fair. They were on time everyday and worked until dark. He informed us of any issues and let us decide how to proceed. The project was finished in a timely manner. We highly recommend RP General Services if you’re looking for a well built, gorgeous deck made to last."

Painting
"JP Painting (Joey Pesaturo) did an outstanding job painting our new kitchen. We hired him to paint our ceiling, walls, baseboards, and trim around the entry ways, a door to the basement and a window. His professionalism was evident in his communication as we discussed the job and expectations. He was accommodating when we asked for last minute additions to the job (paint the basement door and new baseboards). He has a diligent work ethic and was considerate of being in our space and of our time. He told us his timeline for completion and kept to schedule. He took time to prep the room and protect the new cabinets, countertop, back-splash and new appliances. His painting was meticulous, the quality exceptional. The quote was fair and reasonable and we have already asked for the services of JL Painting again on a related project. This was a great experience for us with a contractor."

Painters usually price a job by the square feet of the project. Sometimes they’ll include flat fees for fixed expenses, like overhead and permits.

Interior painting makes for a doable DIY project. You can save some money and get a real sense of accomplishment by doing this yourself. And, with the right prep work – covering, taping and scraping – it’s fairly forgiving. But it takes a lot of time to move furniture, tape trim, prep the surface and cover your floor, let alone apply the actual paint. Instead, save yourself the time and hassle and find a local interior painter.
Leave exterior painting to the pros. Not only do you need to worry about the type and quality of the paint, you’ll also likely need a ladder and considerably more prep work. You’ll likely need additional equipment like ladders, scaffolding and possibly a paint sprayer. It’s almost cheaper to just hire a pro. Talk to a local exterior house painter about your project.
