"I hired B.H. Developers to do concrete demolition and then repouring around our entire house after a foundation repair. Samuel went above and beyond to deliver a product that we absolutely in love with. A beautiful new retaining wall with steps, new steps on the side of the house, driveway, and a path with new steps in the front yard. All with integrated lighting."

"Abraham has serious craftsman skills. I needed a job finished that was started by someone else flooring, a railing with newels, posts and custom fabricated wall railing. He did an amazing job. Specifically the wall railing from a drawing and some pictures. My old house and walls are not straight. The way he mounted it you donâ t see any hardware. Itâ s All maple and it beautiful. Even though it was more work than expected on top of his estimate he didnâ t ask for more money. I gave him more but probably not enough. I hired him and another partners company to do a window install of custom windows following and also excellent job. I wish could hire him to do more work on my home but have to save up!"

"They were reasonably priced, were on time, worked efficiently and quicker than I expected, and cleaned up everything afterwards, making sure there were no nails for my cars, kids, or dogs to find. Great craftsmanship and skill. They also installed a solar light with minimal mess that looks and works well. I would highly recommend them."

"Pete Reichart did an excellent job on a major remodel. He’s a highly skilled craftsman who doesn’t take short cuts, and he worked on site every day. When decisions had to be made, Pete told me my options clearly and in plenty of time, so I never felt rushed. He brought in excellent subcontractors for plumbing, electrical, and painting. He’s also a very nice guy, easy to work with. I trusted him start to finish."

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
