"A few months ago i was thinking of remodeling my kitchen because it just was not giving me a good feeling anymore. It was outdated and i wanted a more modern feel. I knew what i liked but i did not have any ideas on my own. So i called Goldman Home Improvement up and met with them. I explained them my personality and likes. They came up with the perfect kitchen for me its like they read my mind! I love my kitchen and would definitely recommend them."

"It was my first time using Angi and found Home Innovation to replace my two old interior doors, which was fantastic! For me, it has been always hard to find a good contractor with professional skills in a reasonable budget in New York City. Anderson from Home Innovation was a fast communicator and confident of his job. The price was also fair enough unlike other contractors in the city. I am so happy that I finally replaced my doors by his hard work. I do appreciate him and his teamwork. I highly recommend his firm if anyone is looking for their home improvement by themselves, and definitely hire him again. 5 stars! Thanks"

"Fadjol and his crew were amazing for us first timers. He gave the most reasonable and detailed quote and knows quality work. Very professional and helpful with ideas and using quality material. They were also flexible. We came in wanting to do the bathroom and ended up doing the kitchen. We will continue using this company for our projects."

"Tony did an outstanding job remodeling two bathrooms in my apartment over the summer. His is very professional and responsive. Our building is old and like any remodel in an old building, we had some complications, but Tony handled these challenges very well and was very attentive to my feedback and priorities. I also want to note that Tony has a good eye for design and in some cases he suggested ideas that improved the overall look of our bathrooms compared to our original plan."

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
