"Just started construction but I've been pleased with how everything's come along up until this point. Looking to have my family home remodeled and finding the right person to do the work was tough. We originally planned to have different people work on the different parts of the house, but luckily Zamir and his team put a bid for the whole house and to my surprise it actually came out cheaper than expected. He walked me through everything, worked the permits out, got an engineer involved, a designer, everything. He truly went above and beyond to make this project work out, and I couldn't be happier. Will update my review once construction progresses"

"Iâ m so happy with the look of our new backsplash! This was a fantastic experience! Immediate response time. Scheduling was a breeze. We just remodeled our condo and this was the best experience of the entire remodel. I canâ t say enough positive things about Ignacio, Kevin and the team! Highly recommend!!"

"They were reasonably priced, were on time, worked efficiently and quicker than I expected, and cleaned up everything afterwards, making sure there were no nails for my cars, kids, or dogs to find. Great craftsmanship and skill. They also installed a solar light with minimal mess that looks and works well. I would highly recommend them."

"Very readable price for a small tile job on my stairway up to my front door."

Tile
"Gavin was punctual, tidy, pleasant, and did beautiful tile work. I appreciated that he was the one who came to look at the job and also who did the work - he didnâ t hand it off to someone else. I had prepped the shower walls with Kerdi-board but didnâ t do the most level job. Luckily, Gavin has decades of experience and was able to save our tile install from being a disaster! Will be sure to call him once itâ s time to remodel the second bathroom. Highly recommend GM tile."

"Leo and his crew were wonderful. We had flooding which destroyed most of the drywall, it was a mess. Leo gave me a very reasonable quote, and the eork was completed to perfection, not a seam shows! I look forward to hiring Andes construction for a kitchen remodel."

"Pete Reichart did an excellent job on a major remodel. He’s a highly skilled craftsman who doesn’t take short cuts, and he worked on site every day. When decisions had to be made, Pete told me my options clearly and in plenty of time, so I never felt rushed. He brought in excellent subcontractors for plumbing, electrical, and painting. He’s also a very nice guy, easy to work with. I trusted him start to finish."

"Victor is outstanding! Meticulous work, very dependable and I LOVE my new tile. He stepped in after a long project- revamped the pan, placed tile and grouted. From start to finish perfect job. I would highly recommend Victor and his crew. Excellent experience!"

"We had a major kitchen remodelling project in our house including new cabinets, countertops and flooring. Even sinks were replaced. We expected a lot of headaches, delays and unexpected charges. With Spenser and his team none of that happened. He explained from the beginning what our options were, he gave his recommendations that we found quite reasonable. The job started when he said it would and he was regularly checking on the progress. Everything that we wanted to fix (and it wasn?t much) was done at no cost. They did an excellent job, the kitchen is beautiful!"

Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
