"Mr. Terry was awesome! This is my first review I am writing. I felt I needed to write something as his work was so outstanding. He repaired 16 windows and did it beautifully. Marvin's quoted over $40K!! He was able to do what was needed for much much less. He was honest, professional, meticulous, extremely knowledgeable and kind. Miles above the window brand quotes which are ridiculous. Would strongly recommend if you need any window repairs!!!"

Custom fabrication of stair runners and hallways, Lvt, Lvp, Flooring , and 2 more
"I found Jon and Tempco Flooring through Angi after a disappointing visit with a large national company. Jon was responsive, professional, and offered a great price for a small job (redoing flooring for a basement, hallway and bathroom)! From our first communication, he was supportive and informative without being pushy or condescending, which is something that I have run into a few times as a female homeowner when working with other companies. He does great work at a fair price and isn’t out to price gouge you! He even went above and beyond on the day of install and gave me advice on another info we were running into at the house. Highly, highly recommend!"

"Block made this process very simple (or as simple as it can be), and we are really happy with the design assistance we got, as well as them walking us through the design phase, procurement, board package, etc. Would definitely use again!"

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
