"They did a lot of work for me. They did electrical, roofing, put in A/C and heating, redid bathroom and kitchen for a duplex. Always on-time, at one point things were not what I was expecting, I called and they fixed it right away."

"Avi and team fully remodeled our humble kitchen over the summer and we couldn't be happier with the result. He made everything easy and within our budget, from the consult to choosing the floor, tiles, backsplash, appliances, etc. and his advice was always spot on. He was able to leverage his relationships with stores and suppliers to streamline our shopping experience and get us the best prices and products. We had a few hiccups with the floor and inevitable delays due to covid and supply chain issues, but all of that was to be expected. The final result is the kitchen of our dreams. The workers were absolutely terrific and I just want give a shout out to Luis and Sammy and all the guys that worked on our project. The quality of work is just outstanding. Thank you so much!"

"I needed a bunch of drywall and plaster work done after the rain and a leak destroyed a room in my place. I had some wood molding and doors replaced, and a sink vanity in the bathroom. All good, everything got done quickly and reasonably. I believe they are honest. I have had problems with theft from painters in my past so Iâ m extremely cautious. These guys are good guys and I trust them."

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
Los Angeles Addition & Remodeling Contractors are rated 4.8 out of 5 based on 1032 reviews of 1032 pros.
