"We ABSOLUTELY LOVE the responsive, efficient, and hardworking team over at Zwolinski Quality Construction! We contacted them beginning of 2020 for a quote on finishing our large basement (~2000 sq ft), and Gwynn came out the next day, discussing design, price points, taking measurements, and timing of the work. She sent over a quote the next day, and theirs was the most competitive out of 6-7 other contractor's quotes. Fast forward a year (due to the pandemic), and we reached back out to Gwynn to see if they had availability to complete the work. Despite their busy schedule, they were able to start work in the summer of 2021, and, get this, despite the increase in material costs due to the pandemic, THEY HONORED THEIR ORIGINAL QUOTE! I can't tell you how impressed we were at their integrity and follow through. As for the actual work, from the day the raw materials were dropped off to the completion of the work, it was about 3.5 weeks to complete, and this was not a small job: framing, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, dry wall, flooring, painting. The crew arrived promptly each morning, worked diligently and skillfully, and they were very collaborative with us when they encountered any obstacles or design changed we requested. Overall, we love our new basement and we couldn't be happier with the quality of the work, the very reasonable cost, and the absolute pleasure it was working with the team! To quote the words of the township inspector as he completed his certification: the BEST, CLEANEST, and MOST PROFESSIONAL remodeling work that he had ever inspected and certified. 6 out of 5 stars!"

Hard Wood Flooring Install
"We had a sagging joist below the floor in our dining room and thinking it was a flooring issue contacted several companies to diagnose and recommend a fix. 3 companies said that floor replacement would remedy the problem. Saw the reviews on Amerizil and decided to get one more opinion and so glad we did. Catelynn came out and quickly diagnosed the sag as a truss issue and quite candidly said redoing the floor would only be a cosmetic fix and the underlying issue was the sagging truss. She recommended getting the trusses below the floor looked at she was 100 percent right. Had an engineer come out diagnose and support the sagging trusses. She could have just taken the work as the other flooring companies would have done and made the cosmetic repair but the sagging floor would have gotten worse and worse over time. Fast forward 2 years and we decided to remodel and it was a no brainer who we would get to door the floor install. Amerizil all the way!! They don't sell flooring, just install but Catelynn came out again and measured, told me how much to order including transitions and quarter round and when the order came in had Marco and Fabio scheduled for the install 2 days after the floor arrived. Marco and Fabio did excellent work, including shuffling the furniture from one end of the rooms to the other end while they worked on the empty space. Could not be happier with the whole Amerizil experience, excellent customer service, craftsmanship and quality. We'll be using the.again soon to do our stairs."

Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
