I have owned my home for over 18 years, and have done a lot of work on it - from smaller jobs, to full underpinning and finishing basement, full kitchen gut and redo, full bathroom gut and redo. Overall, Juan was the best contractor I have hired in 18 years of working on this home. He was polite, punctual, his work was absolutely excellent, and his price was fair considering the scope of work. He removed my concrete driveway and replaced it with a permeable paver driveway that qualified for the Chesapeake Bay Foundation's rebate program. My neighbors on both sides and in front of my home all commented on how great his crew was, how polite they were, and how great the driveway lookd. I HIGHLY recommend Melendez Renovations, LLC!"

"We deliberately waited to write this review to make sure that the waterproofing John and his team produced in our basement was reliable and effective, and it is crystal clear that they delivered. We had underpinning, waterproofing, wrapping, and structural modifications done to our basement by Brothers and we simply could not be more pleased with the result. We have experienced multiple torrential rains, heavy snows, anything nature could throw at the basement and the space has remained bone dry, and we are at the bottom of a hill, no less. Aside from the product itself, which I could not recommend more, Johns team was punctual, communicative, and fun to work with. They always let us ask questions and explained what was happening each day so we werent caught off guard. They kept the space clean throughout the project and washed everything off thoroughly after the final work was completed. They were honestly a fantastic group of guys to work with. John, himself, is commendable as a businessman and a contractor. We received quotes from what seemed like a rotating door of BS artists who told us they could do the work cheaply or execute less robust solutions for the problem, yet all told us to keep up to 20% extra in reserve for surprise costs (not welcome news when you are talking multiple tens of thousands of dollars). But, while John is an excellent salesman, he cut to the chase, spoke honestly and knowledgeably about the craft, and did everything in his power to keep the budget to the contracted price. He maintained communication throughout the project and would answer texts and calls any time, day or night. In summary, waterproofing is a dirty business. There are a lot of con artists out there, and our house had even been waterproofed by one of those con artists before we bought it. Brothers Waterproofing is the polar opposite. We would recommend them to anyone, and we have."

"95 was one of three companies I quoted for a driveway replacement project. Their representative, Tim, was the first to contact me. Tim is truly a subject matter expert. He understood the assignment and made solid recommendations, even filling gaps in my own creativity for how I thought the final product should look. 45 minutes after meeting with me at the house, Tim emailed an itemized quote with 95's bid and then called to go over it with us. He didn't know it, but he had set the precedent for how I expected all the bidding companies to go about their pitch. After a couple more bids came in from other vendors, 95's price point landed in the middle of the pack. Despite having the option to save money with another vendor, Tim's enthusiasm, competence in his work, and our sense of his genuineness caused us to go with 95. "We needed our front brick and concrete 3 level patio entranceway replaced along with work on our entrance walkway. The entranceway had settled and shifted because adequate footings were not put in when the house was built in 1969. The 40 foot long brick and slate walkway from the driveway to the front entrance patio had also settled and shifted. All of the work performed was personally supervised and in several instances performed by Mr. Hernandez - a conscientious family person who made sure the job was done properly. It is always nice to work with a person who takes personal responsibility and pride in his work and is not just a salesman who makes a sale and then is gone. His obvious capability and years of experience in what he does goes beyond what you would expect of a man who is not yet 40."

"This company performed a top notch job removing the blown insulation from my attic. The insulation was ruined by a live in raccoon and the mothballs that were used to get rid of him. The company took great care to protect the carpeting in the house and even installed a plastic barrier to protect the other rooms. Mr. Cody Burris gave me the estimate for the work , worked at the site and also supervised the whole operation. He and his crew were very knowledgeable, professional and respectful. Even tho Mr Burris under estimated the work involved, he held firm to his company's agreement and I was not charged for the overrun. I highly recommend Green Home Solutions from the experience that I had. It not often you run across a company completely trustworthy, honest and completed their job with the highest degree of integrity."
