From the initial call with Ryan, the experience with Shake Guys was the best I've had with any other service provider. And that covers a lot of years as a homeowner and business owner! Ryan was always responsive and led/assisted with the process from estimating to job completion. Responsiveness and communications were great. The ability to explain and educate us on the various components of the process and the project was great. We were actually thinking that everything was going so well during the lead up to the actual work that something was bound to go awry. It did not. From the team that dropped off the supplies to the team that cleaned up once the job was complete all was stellar. Even the 'subs' used for gutters and skylights were top notch. "Steve and his crew coordinated two projects: metal roof installation and completely tear down half a garage roof and rebuild the roof to finally install the shingles. "Simply put, you will NOT find a better, more honest, more helpful, more easy-to-work-with, reasonably priced contractor than John Lee and his crew at J & K Home Improvement & Restoration! We had a "complicated" set of circumstances when our home was damaged by a storm, last winter. The insurance company sent out an estimator to assess the damage and, after the company recommended J & K Home Improvement & Restoration, I was introduced to John Lee. I eventually learned that John also does estimates for a variety of insurance companies (because his company is so well regarded), and he patiently listened as I described the nuances associated with our house. During our initial consultation, he was able to clearly describe all of the steps that would be necessary and answer all of our questions. Long story short, not only was John able to address EVERY single concern and request that we had regarding the eventual repairs to the house (including roof, siding, and a window upgrade that would have cost much more if we had done it at a later time), but he spent plenty of extra time making sure that everything we had talked about was addressed to our 100% satisfaction! He was also able to persuade the insurance company to cover more complete repairs than was originally specified by the first adjuster! In addition, when we had an electrical "hiccup" associated with all the pounding on the walls, John quickly sent an expert electrician to locate and correct the problem. He absolutely could have passed those charges on to us because the failure wasn't due to any mistake on the part of his crew but, instead, he picked up the unanticipated expense himself. It was truly a pleasure to work with John! He made a difficult situation as easy to manage as possible, and we would strongly recommend J & K Home Improvement & Restoration to anyone who wants to hire a quality contractor that stands behind their work and well-earned reputation!"
