"I contacted Zavala Flooring Service after receiving a number of referrals from Home Advisor and Zavala was prompt and professional in their follow-up and scheduling of the initial inspection to review the flooring installation I requested. It happened quickly as scheduled without delay and with excellent communication and a detailed scope of work before work began that was to be performed and any details that I was to be responsible for. The owner and install crew showed up at the time scheduled and covered up the entry hall floor and added plastic screening to minimize dust to other areas. I have high standards as I've been a Builder for many years and I appreciate the level of detail in preparation before installing the engineered wood flooring began and cleanup and detail afterwards. No shortcuts here and no reminders needed. You can tell that this company has high standards and is consistent with best install practices required by manufactures for quality installation and warranty. "Jose was communicative by text and phone during the project. The quality of the work was better than I expected based on the amount that I paid Jose at the end of the project. Jose and his crew showed up on the job site consecutive days in a row to finish the job. He was open to feedback in terms of what needed to be fixed/improved before I considered the job complete. He provided ideas to me in terms of what might make the project better. In addition to hiring Jose to do the drywall and plaster, Jose's crew also performed the demolition and some light construction before finishing the drywall, tape and float, texture and painting. Additionally, they installed baseboards and trim. I hired Jose and his crew to fix the siding and some trim on the front of my house. They repainted the front of my house afterwards. I will hire Jose again."
