"We used Transport America to move about 350 cubic feet of furniture, etc to NYC for my daughter. Mark was great to work with and upfront about timing and getting a smaller amount of goods to NYC. What I thought was super great was they did 2 stops for us (one to another sibling)in NYC along with having to go up 3 flights of stairs for a really reasonable price! Everything arrived in perfect conditionâ and nothing was missing. But you need to keep in mind that when you are moving smaller quantities of goods across country- the shipment has to be combined with others and that is why you get a good price. :). And in case anyone wants to purchase additional insurance, I found going through Progressive insurance (we got a renterâ s policy) was so inexpensive. They will begin coverage on the day you purchase it and will cover the move too. So far the best way to get full coverage at a great price.Chr"
