"Hands down best experience working with a contractor. They did an exceptional job on siding over a dog door hole, installing trim, and painting my house; price was fair; completed the job in only a few days; and cleaned up the job sight when project finished. It has been a year since they painted my house and the paint has held up and still looks amazing. As a woman I believe it’s important to add I was treated with respect from start to finished. No one treated me like an idiot. Other contractors in the area I received quotes talked down to me and one even tried to convince me I needed new siding when my siding was fine. I highly recommend using MJD Construction, LLC and will be hiring them for future projects."

"Appreciated all the quick responses and really love the ease that Angis provides in finding professionals! PBS was the first call I received and they were quick to schedule a time to come to my home since I had urgent work - to get an undermount sink reinstalled after it literally fell down off my countertop and into my sink cabinet! PBS had great communication prior to the work and they were very professional and managed time wisely for the repair work!!"

"I hired Prim-Mo to paint 3 of my residential buildings. This consisted of power washing all structures, replacing wood trim boards, caulking and painting with 3 colors on each of the buildings. I am very happy with the results! Oscar methodically went to work prepping each of the structures. I was particularly impressed with his customer service skills and making me happy with all the small details of the project. Very accommodating and professional in his approach. Him and his team worked long hours on the project and when it was completed cleaned up the space. It felt like I had a new home - thank you Oscar and your team for a great result!"

Painters usually price a job by the square feet of the project. Sometimes they’ll include flat fees for fixed expenses, like overhead and permits.

Interior painting makes for a doable DIY project. You can save some money and get a real sense of accomplishment by doing this yourself. And, with the right prep work – covering, taping and scraping – it’s fairly forgiving. But it takes a lot of time to move furniture, tape trim, prep the surface and cover your floor, let alone apply the actual paint. Instead, save yourself the time and hassle and find a local interior painter.
Leave exterior painting to the pros. Not only do you need to worry about the type and quality of the paint, you’ll also likely need a ladder and considerably more prep work. You’ll likely need additional equipment like ladders, scaffolding and possibly a paint sprayer. It’s almost cheaper to just hire a pro. Talk to a local exterior house painter about your project.
