"Brett can do it all. He moved and installed kitchen cabinets. Converted a pantry with shelves into a beautiful dry bar and also added cabinets to a walk in pantry. He did everything from demo to framing to cabinets to trim. One stop shopping and very talented. Now that this project is wrapping up we have other jobs with him to do and he is also working for our neighbor. He is five stars all day!!!"

"Matthew from MK Builds is a hardworking guy, and very polite. I told him about some projects I needed done around my house. One of them was to replace skirting that blew off from around my house during hurricane Ian. He did an excellent job. It was a relief to finally find someone who actually came out to look at the job and get it done. Another time he fixed a leak in my kitchen. I have seen his flooring work, so I am having him come out soon to replace my flooring. He is a meticulous worker, and does a great job."

"We hired a company to install flooring and re-finish the remaining floors to match. We chose the original company because of a few positive recommendations and they were significantly cheaper. We were told the job could be completed in 4 to 5 days, max. However, it took over two weeks and we were extremely disappointed when we saw the final product. The staining was inconsistent (some areas were not properly sanded, edges, corners and under counters) and there was so much pitting that it felt like sandpaper. Plus, there was prominent chatter throughout all the finished flooring. We spoke to several additional companies and Brendan responded immediately and came out to assess the flooring. Brendan meticulously cataloged the problems, which were more than we had even noticed, and communicated with us in a refreshingly direct and straightforward manner. Brendan also helped us determine that our previous contractor was not even a licensed professional and showed us what is required by the state to perform home improvement contracted work. He was professional and very experienced in repairing floors from botched jobs. We hired Flaherty Floors to redo our floors a second time. Brendan told us it would take 4 days to complete and fixed molding and replaced multiple boards the prior company had damaged. They showed up every day they stated they would (unlike the first company) and they were extremely professional, hung plastic and cleaned and vacuumed meticulously. Our house was cleaner after they worked than before they started. We would re-hire him and his company without hesitation and recommend him to anyone. He sent us pictures of the flooring as he was progressing and listened to all of our concerns. Brendan is extremely knowledgeable and his pricing is still lower than many competitors. We would feel comfortable with him and his crew doing any work in our home."

"We needed to have vinyl plank installed on top of porcelain tile and areas that had been carpet. We also wanted to replace all the base molding and put vinyl plank on some stairs. Chip had a lot of experience with this type of installation and offered many suggestions to make the job turn out extremely well. We ordered the material on line and Chip had a local warehouse we were able to ship to. Could not ask for a better contractor to handle a project.
