Remodels, Hardscapes
"Had competing quotes for both some bathroom work (moving light fixture electrical, moving and adding an outlet, redoing a shiplap wall) as well as an entire front and backyard make over. They had the best value by far. Completely redid it all. It came out better than expected, and looks phenomenal. I will definitely be using New Edge again for future projects. Oh, and I've been getting people in my neighborhood stopping and complimenting me on how goo the front yard looks."

Plumber
"Austin Plumbing Express what they did was use a camera and locate sewer line and breaks at an affordable price. Other plumbers wanted a ridiculous amount and Austin Plumbing Express was 1/2 the cost with spot on results. Definitely will be my plumber in the future, on all my plumbing needs. Thank you Mr. Justin Ortiz."
Priscilla D. in February 2024
"They were able to come out the very next day and didn't charge me an "emergency fee" as so many would do. They spent most of the day working on my issue. I felt they were very honest and explained everything along the way. He also gave me some alternatives for a permanent fix that weren't necessarily the most expensive."

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
