His team re-finished my first floor and 2nd oak hardwood. They replaced and matched hardwood in the halls, my the fireplace and installed and stained new stair treads. The workmanship was exceptional, the floors look incredible. "Alex and the team were absolutely fantastic to work with throughout the entire project. Our project was rather large it that it included 1.) weaving in new hardwood flooring into an existing hardwood floor in two places 2.) sanding the entire lower level 3.) sanding the stairs and 4.) sanding our upstairs hallway. We also replaced our stair newel posts and balusters, where Alex and his crew prepared the area and coordinated well with the separate master carpenter crew that performed the stair installation. Alex and his crew were also fantastic working through our stain preferences including stain type (DuraSeal) stain color, sealer (Bona Intense) and clear coat (Bona Traffic HD). The house literally looks brand new and we could not be more pleased. We interviewed 4 different contractors and chose KALS given we were able to actually inspect some previous work they had completed and were appropriately priced for the fantastic work they performed."
