"Noticed a slow leak (Pinhole?) between submersible pump and check valve in house. Pressure gauge on underground piping/wellhead line would slowly drop down to zero instead of maintaining pressure between pump runs as it had for years. Problems started about a month ago. Pure Vision crew came out, determined the problem was not with the 250 foot pvc pipe from the wellhead down to the pump, most likely there is a leak in the underground pipe coming from the wellhead into the house's check valve. Pure Vision recommended I get in touch with a pipeline crew to determine where the leak is located and then replace the entire 100 foot long schedule 20 pvc pipe with solid tube--getting rid of any problematic solvent welded joints in the process. Once the wellhead to house pipe, which is almost 40 years old, is replaced, next step will be to pre-emptively have Pure Vision come back and replace the 17 year old submersible pump with a solid tube--no welded joints. Would recommend Pure Vision without hesitation."
