"Exceptional work done on time and on budget. Wasn't sure what to expect as we had never gone through a total remodel before, but I can say that because of Mike's excellent communication with us it was virtually a painless experience. We were informed every step of the way about what was going to happen on the next day, who was going to show up, and what time they were going to be here. , Any questions or concerns were addressed immediately-as in that same day. Mike's attention to detail was amazing, he is laser focused on achieving an excellent final product yet flexible enough to listen to our ideas too. We couldn't t be happier with our beautiful new bathroom and we feel like we have found the perfect contractor for any new projects that we may have in the future."

Remodels, Addition to Existing Structure
"We hired sonart a Construction for a bathroom addition! Their staff was more than helpful and their crew was beyond experienced! They were actually able to finish this project a lot quicker than expected. Definitely gave me a piece of mine that I didnâ t have to worry about where the crew was are getting in contact with the office. I have dealt with some pretty sketchy construction companies and contractors in the past grateful that this wasnâ t the case here!"

"Before beginning this project, we did our due diligence and interviewed many contractors. Efren Estrada was the only one to present us with plans, multiple options of how to proceed, and going through the proper channels of securing the proper permits. Being our first ever time doing remodeling, communication was always open to see what materials we liked; flooring, shower tiles, sinks, doors, etc. He was able to work within our budget and build us a great home addition (garage conversion). The only small issue and not Efren’s fault, was the time to complete the project. Getting permits, Inspection scheduling, scheduling gas to be shut and having to reschedule to turn on definitely added more time onto the project but in the end we are very pleased with how it turned out. We will definitely be doing business with him in the future."

Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
