"Jerry did a great job installing my back door. Showed up on time, supplied receipts for supplies and cleaned up after he was finished. He was worried about my door knob not working properly and said he would go out and purchase a new one for me. All around good guy!"

"I selected Nielsen's Painting because he was the lowest bidder anong 4 I selected for proposals (all were listed in service magic). Nielsen agreed to remove wallpaper from our master bath and toilet areas, prepare the surface, texture and paint the walls plus paint our vanity a different color. While in process he convinced us to paint the interior doors, frames and basboards & ceiling plus apply a 2d coat to the vanity for a respnable cost. All was completed in an outstanding professional manner and within the original time stated - 3 days."

"Great experience from Tip Top Construction. They came out and gave me a fair quote for a new fence installation. They were able to start a few days after putting a down payment, and they completed the job within a few days. Great communication with them, especially from Avi and Mike. Highly recommend them!"

"I think i have finally found a contractor I can trust and who does good work. The project was on budget and on time. The crew was a 3 man crew working 10+ hours a day. If they said they would be here at 8am, they were here. I couldn t believe it. Such a different experience than my previous experiences with contractors. Quality of work was great. The hand built a few pieces and took extra steps to keep my house clean while they worked. I have a few more projects to update my house and I know who I m calling!"

"I am very satisfied with the service provided by CenturionĂ¢ s. Will definitely contract them for future projects."
Azucena V. in December 2024
"They came the same day I contacted them. Started my project the next day and finished it the next day. 3 days and I had my guest bathroom tiled and ready for use. Very happy with them and will certainly call them again for any repair work that needs to be done. Everyone was polite, friendly and efficient. Arad , the project manager kept up a constant communication so I knew exactly what was happening at all times. Very pleased with Ecostar."

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
